Now Hiring — Boston

Chauffeur. Boston Operations.

We're hiring chauffeurs for our Boston operation — but calling it a driving job misses what this role actually is. Our chauffeurs are the final impression of a $2,000/night hotel stay and the first impression of a C-suite morning. The work is largely invisible. The client should feel nothing except that everything went exactly right.

i. about met global

Premium ground transportation for the firms that matter.

Overview

Met Global Mobility builds premium private ground transportation programs for Fortune 500 leadership, private jet clients, and family offices. Our Boston operation is our flagship. We are now establishing our New York City headquarters.

ii. the role

Professional services. Not a driving job.

What the role involves
  1. Point-to-point transfers and hourly work for C-suite executives, hotel VIP guests, and private aviation clients.
  2. Logan Airport departures and arrivals, including private terminal connections at Signature and Atlantic Aviation.
  3. Representing the client's hotel or company. Discretion, appearance, and composure are always on. You are the brand.
  4. Fleet vehicles — Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Cadillac Escalade ESV — all maintained to detail standard before every shift.
A typical day
  1. Night before. Review tomorrow's manifest. Street View the pickup. Track the flight. Learn the client's name and face.
  2. Two hours before pickup. At base. Fuel. Vehicle inspection — 25 to 35 minutes minimum. Stock amenities. Brief with dispatch.
  3. On-site fifteen-plus minutes early. Always. Right side to curb. You find the client. They don't find you.
  4. You stay with the vehicle the entire shift. No leaving for food or restrooms during waits.
  5. Silence is the default in the cabin. No religion, no politics, no opinions, no commentary on the client's calls. What's said in the car stays in the car.
The client should feel nothing except that everything went exactly right.
iii. the candidate

A professional. Quietly excellent.

What You Bring
  1. A background in service. Luxury hospitality, private aviation, estate or household staffing, executive transportation, hotel front-of-house. You understand premium service without needing it explained.
  2. Deep knowledge of Boston. Neighborhoods, hotels, restaurants, traffic patterns by time of day. You can drive the Financial District, Back Bay, Seaport, and Beacon Hill without GPS.
  3. A clean MA driving record. Zero points on your license. Non-negotiable.
  4. Immaculate presentation. Tailored dark suit, polished shoes, groomed to a standard that belongs at the Five-Star hotel door.
  5. Composure when things go sideways. Flight delays, last-minute route changes, demanding requests. You handle it quietly and move on.
  6. Within twenty minutes of Logan. East Boston, Winthrop, Revere, Chelsea, Somerville, Cambridge. Response time matters.
Bonus if you have

Experience driving Mercedes Sprinter vans for group transfers, multilingual fluency for our international hotel guests, or prior chauffeur work for a Boston-area livery service. None are required — but they signal familiarity with the rhythm we operate in.
